Children first learn about God's love within the family where they are nurtured and loved. They learn love, forgiveness to care and to be cared for.


Faith Formation for the youngest members of our community primarily happens when we help parents to deepen their own faith. We support parents and help them to feel welcome to attend Mass with some options for their little ones.

Sacred Heart offers several ways for you to engage your child and help them begin their relationship with Jesus.

Family Room
Parents attending Mass with young children can take advantage of the family room with comfortable seating and a view to the front without having to worry about their little ones if they are needing to move around or make noise.

Mass Kits
Coloring/activity sheets to keep little ones busy during Mass are located on the windowsills in the church. Children's books are located in the pew pockets.

Breakfast with God 
In partnership with Boston College Church in the 21st Century Center, enjoy “Breakfast with God" a 30-minute program hosted on Zoom, Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. EST. To learn more about "Breakfast with God", click here.
