"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." - Matthew 18:20
How often do you have the chance to sit quietly?
To hear the Word of our Lord, which nourishes our soul?
To receive the Eucharist, which fills us with Grace and strengthens us?
Our culture today is programmed to rush—to do—that making quiet time for ourselves is not a
priority. And yet, it should be.
Our family of faith recognizes the importance of prayer in all that we do.
Prayer is the common bond that we share as a family.
From the child praying before bedtime to the prayer group at the parish, our family of faith
continues to pray for those in our community and beyond.
We can pray alone or with others; we worship together at Mass and as families. There are many types of prayer and different styles of worship, but all center on living and experiencing our relationship with the living God.
